Beaver Plants have been supplying Garden Centres for almost 40 years. We have a huge range of water plants, grasses, perennials and much more which we can deliver to your garden centre quickly and free of charge for orders over £265 + vat.

Ordering

We aim to make the ordering process as simple as possible. As well as a comprehensive trade catalogue we produce an order/looking good list form each week which can be emailed / faxed to you or downloaded from this website. The looking good list has been developed to make ordering as easy as possible. The list is separated into each plant section (i.e. marginals or water lilies for aquatics and Grasses or perennials for our garden plants range) and displays trays sizes, price, whether in bud or flower and their present quality. Each section also has an assorted option where we will select the best plants available.

Delivery

Delivery is normally free on orders over £265.00. Your order will be delivered either on our own fleet of trucks or with a specialist horticultural transporter. Smaller orders will be subject to a £40 carriage charge.

Orders received by 4pm on Monday will be delivered the same week to the mainland UK. Deliveries are made on red tagged RFID CC Danish trolleys.

We can also send small ‘Top-up’ orders on over-night courier for any non-potted items (such as baskets, floaters, bunched oxygenators etc). Courier orders over £50.00 are delivered free of charge.

Pricing

At Beaver we like to keep things simple. That is why each plant range has only one price point. We also display the prices for each item on the looking good order list to help you total your order.

Despite the increases in costs of everything from transport to pots and soil, we have decided not to increase our prices this year and have actually reduced many prices including 1L marginals and 2L grasses & perennials.

We also offer numerous trolley deals with up to 20% discount and free delivery. These not only save you money, they also make ordering easier and allow us to select the best looking stock.

The range

Aquatic Plants

An ever growing number of customers are looking for native and non-invasive plants. Beaver was the first major supplier to stop selling invasive plants in the UK. We also strongly promote British Native plants with the Union Jack on the label of every native plant.

We are also proud to have the largest selection of aquatic plants available in the UK. Although a large selection is important, there are certain plants your customers will expect to see in every aquatics section, such as Irises, Equisetum and Lobelia. For this reason we have selected the best selling plants and promote them on our looking good list in red to assist you when placing your order.

As well as our marginal range we also supply water lilies, deep water plants, floating plants, oxygenating plants, pondside plants and associated dry goods. For more information on these ranges please see the relevant section on the left.

Garden Plants

Beaver Plants have been selling Garden Plants for over 7 years. Initially with a small range of grasses, perennials and exotic plants the range has expanded to include over 300 varieties across 11 different collections.

These huge ranges of perennials and grasses as well as callas, cannas (including Tropicanna), agapanthus (including storm), ferns, hostas, bananas and two of our own collections Lifestyle & Kind to Nature.

Our Kind to Nature collection, launched last year, has proved to be very popular. A selection of perennial plants that are high in pollen / nectar. These are essential for any gardener wishing to attract insects (in particular bees and butterflies) to their garden.

Our long established Lifestyle Range of plants is a unique collection of contemporary plants from around the world. It contains many wonderful looking plants such as Aeoniums, Cordylines, Eryngiums and Scadoxus as well as ever-popular Equisetum and Zantedeschia.

Invasive Aliens

Beaver has been instrumental in eliminating dangerous plants such as crassula and hydrocotyle ranunculoides which threaten our wild flora. (We do not sell invasive plants.)
